With the cancellation of the Nachtmystium/Jarboe tour I did what I do in most situations, I took the great musical energy generated from learning and playing the amazing Jarboe, SWANS, World Of Skin tracks we were to perform and write new music. I recruited my good friend BALEYYG, who directed me through the material of the live set and long time collaborator and valued brother in art Ferenc Teglas to add their creative genius and gave them a week to do it.
This album is the result and it's one hell of a dense and dark experience to rise from such a spontaneous burst of energy and creativity. I thank my brothers of dark art for blasting open the gateways between worlds on these songs.
The coming year will bring at least two East/West Choronzon releases, the first being Escape From Nullworld and then a Choronzon East/West revisiting of MKCCCXXXIII, an earlier version of which about twenty thousand of you grabbed from Megaupload before they got shut down.

Choronzon are opening up to yet another set of unexplored worlds on this, featuring electric standup bass, keys and percussion from Ferenc Teglas and the multiversal soundscapes of BALEYYG. While we continue furiously scan and catalogue the massive amount of art we're offering this month, the music is still coming. We will be making the music from P. Emerson Williams' score of all ten episodes of the classic French silent film serial Les Vampires available from PANICMACHINE Digital Music, and each digital album will include mp4 files of the (roughly) corresponding episodes.
Les Vampires is a film serial that gave us so much of the aesthetic for iconic gothic imagery its influence can not be overstated. Not a single vampire in sight, but enough mystery, twists and wickedness to fill twenty vampire novels. There are 10 episodes, averaging around 40 minutes each, totalling about 6 and a half hours, but much more than ten hours of music was created for this version. The fact that this series was shot in post WWI Paris has me pondering the urge to create, even in the midst of turmoil and chaos. the Killer Ring offered me a lot in the way of visual inspiration and coaxed sounds from me that I hadn't anticipated.

The dreaded GOTHRONOMICON has been brought to us and is being translated by mute scribes and the content held therein tested by fearless and skilled mages, though a few have been lost between space... We have a tip on where to find the Gothrapocrypha and some info on what it will take to obtain it. We hope to get this process on film.
The plan with these singles is to release one or two songs at a time, with a lot of extras. This is part of the process of creating the next album. Those who collect the singles are helping fund operations. More than that, with the singles is a ton of exclusive material, including art, short stories, and videos, to mention a few. The more we can bring in, the more ambitious we can get with packaging, collaborative partners and more. The more you buy, share, stream on Spotify or wherever you like to get your music, play on your radio shows, podcasts and spin in clubs, the better what we create will be. If you do play our music on your show, podcast etc. let us know so we can spread your links around.

Like the Bath Salts Mix - from Grave Knave - soundz kinda like codeine, actually. Maybe this is the comedown... Veil of Thorns give Big Thanx to Grave Knave for the rough treatment. Hive Mind Drones bring the sound of at the minimum mass hysteria to their mix, of not something more harrowing and sinister. On the final Drone Mix, Solar Sound System got abrasively meditative on the track...
A whole lotta art is going to be created as part of the upcoming Veil of Thorns release(s). Dissemination shall happen through digital, print and sale of originals. Something very strange is developing in the form the lyrical/prose aspect and odd goings on have been spotted on Emerson's estate...

 From PANICMACHINE: As we head out of summer and we look back over our first months of existence, we want to bring on another deal that links to some of what we have planned. For as long as we have pieces on hand, we will be offering P. Emerson Williams original art for the price of prints, and in some cases, even well below that.What we are doing is funding an endeavour of major proportions. We can't hint at the nature of this, but it is a massive undertaking and for this we are offering original art at a price anyone can afford. There are several releases slated for this month as well, but we are going to try to keep a pace of posting at least twelve art pieces a day until everything is sold. We have everything from small impromptu ink and pencil drawings from the early 1990's up to this last week, watercolours, and oil paint and acrylic canvases of varying sizes from 10"x12" to acrylic on 90"x120" heavy acid free paper.
When you add two or more pieces to your collection we will be throwing in all kinds of extras. And we have many extras to add. So here, to get things rolling is a drawing from twenty years ago. Just be fore the art of P. Emerson Williams was to start showing up in hundreds of goth, metal and occult 'zines across the world. The full development of his signature work of the 1990's was yet to come, but you can see that is was well along in its development.

A concert pianist, Paul Orlac (Conrad Veidt), loses his hands in a railway accident. Replacement hands are transplanted onto him in an experimental procedure, but the hands are those of a recently-executed murderer. From that point forward, the pianist is tortured by panic attacks and irrational fears. He believes that with the hands of the murderer he has also gained the murderer's predisposition to killing. Strange signs and bizarre threatening letters reinforce these fears. When his father is killed, with whom he was on bad terms, the pianist is suspected of the murder. He only finds peace by clearing up the plot.

A story about stories, about the search for the language of the birds, the tongue of the Angels – it chronicles the life and work of a man engaging in the oldest quest. The quest to become more human than human, and recover his nature from the mob-spectacle known as “reality.”
The Ravens’ Head is part travelogue, part mythic narrative and part journey inward into the depths of consciousness itself. Written by a figure steeped in mythic landscapes and tales, it presents a unique take on life and the notions of disability and impairment.
Focusing on the inescapable notions of physicality and sensation, it examines the conventions of power and control – revealing them to be nothing but stories and charms to ease the discomfort of life in an indifferent universe.
A furious exploration of the connections between poetry and communication – between stories, myth and magic, it serves as a gateway into the world behind the wallpaper; through the metaphors of ancient myth and personal experience, it opens doors for the reader to examine their own life and partake in a glorious phantasmagoria of inspired creation.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
CRAIG ‘VI’ SLEE or MR. VI if you’re feeling formal, lives in the North of England in a place charmingly nicknamed ‘Hanging Town’. Crazed spastic: poet, storyteller and philosopher, he embraces a peculiar life of furious seizure.
Gripped by the ecstatic awe and dread known by the ancients as wôdh, he makes deals with the grandfathers of ravens and counts the Furious Host as blood brothers. He sits at crossroads in the middle of the night and knows the scent of blood and frost as well as he does mead and woodsmoke.
He’s more than a little bit dead. He drinks dark ale and smoky whisky and can send you places by the power of his voice. The waters of the dream-sea flow in his veins and pain is the herald and gateway of his vision.
He made a deal with the Devil in the grounds of a thousand year-old church, giving up his soul for skill with words. Or he conjured up the Headless One and ignited the immortal fire, and he walks without walking, striding through your dreams and over the graves of giants.
At least, these are some of the stories they tell of him. He has a beard and a hat, and if you asked about them and called him a sorcerer, he couldn’t possibly comment. But he does like cats, which is nice.

The second etape of razor coated candies is out, which is a weekly edition of 21 tracks ranging from black to another shade of black (and very intense, rumbling, bass- and melody-heavy and otherwise quite enjoyable inbetween). There is a huge mixture of genres, last week’s RCC meandered from darkpop through cabaret and ambient to electrohouse, this week’s edition might be a bit more influenced by gothic, but I wouldn’t be so sure. Be prepared – every Thursday brings you a new edition (something Miss @Toyclouds called endre kabátolt cukorkák which sent bits of our brain Sputnikwards), share this Dragontape package if you need some weekly recommendation into the blissful waves beyond the mainstream maya.

This has been a long time coming, verily a monumental undertaking that brings a whole new set of perspectives on the stories we in which we live. Thought provoking writing and great art is lovingly gathered and edited by James Curcio.

The Immanence of Myth is available from Amazon and all major retailers.  Where can we begin a genuine discussion of immanence in myth? Do we engage the tools of analysis on the dissection table of academia? Or perhaps it is best not dealt with in sterile light, being rather an arcane synthesis, a syncretism. If myth is something long dead, a corpse exhumed with philosophical disinterest, then please consider this work an attempt at necromancy. But if myth is considered something dangerous; full of falsities, dead ends and mazes luring the unwary into a fugue of superstition, then consider it a whispered pass-phrase into another world: the world beyond the wallpaper. A world that recognizes the real is in the effect rendered, rather than in the thing symbolized. Conflicting fictions drive Holy wars. How is a history born of spilled blood unreal? How is it meaningless, even if all the Gods are just shadows cast on the wall by finger-puppets? Myth is not dead, nor is it false; it is living, and misunderstood. This anthology is a book. For the philosophers Deleuze and Guattari, a book is an assemblage: “Comparative rates of flow on these lines produce phenomena of relative slowness and viscosity, or, on the contrary, of acceleration and rupture. All this, lines and measurable speeds, constitutes an assemblage. A book is an assemblage of this kind, and as such is unattributable. It is a multiplicity[.]” (A Thousand Plateaus) It is an assemblage of voices gathered together to speak on the immanence of myth. It is, as already stated, a multiplicity, which is fitting as myth embraces multiplicity. Contrasting Mythos with Logos, we contrast those multiple voices against the singular, the transcendent. Whereas the logos is the word of God, the divine fiat that structures and moves our universe, so the mythos is an indefinite set of articles, tales told for the telling itself, with no hard and fast authority, no assertable Ultimate Truth, no attributable origin grounded in cold solidity. It is immanent rather than transcendent because it is the codification of our direct experience, forms and ideas ground from our collective bones and flesh. -Mr. VI and James Curcio, from the chapter "Immanence and Butchery."

That group is not the same as wanna-be satinistas and confused freaks blurting people. nor is it the same as the group that runs weevil government mind control experiments, or any group influenced by nasty hungry evil spirits, etc.
We wouldn't be able to have these conversations today if it weren't for generations of Necrofuturists working to free the human spirit through the bondage of leather, superimposition of discipline, false festishism, tribal/racial hatreds, Feudalism, etc.
So on the one side we have the traditional, Historical Necrofuturists and then on the other side of the coin we have the nefarious, dangerous and "sexy" Necrofuturists, which is more akin to ScareCrow's Hermetically sealed sausages of tradition called the Order of the Silver Star, with Tantric Sex rituals, worship of the Lingam and Yoni and the Swill to Plow 'er, with ties to the Necrocrucians, medieval switchcraft, Necrofuturist Sufis, Gnoccicism, the Necros Templar, Egyptian cults, Eleusinian Masteries and DiaGnosticism.
And of course, just to complicate matters even further, the Order of the Silver Scar is referring to the godscar Sirius....all roads lead to Rome.
So what I want to know is, what do the Doggone have to do with the Necrofuturists?
